Ford Motor Company is an American multi-national corporation and the worlds third largest car manufacturer after Toyota and General Motors. Its founder, Henry Ford, is regarded as one of the first innovators of the production line manufacture methodology. The first car was produced in 1903.

Background

After some awful cars in the 90s with the truly terrible mark 4 and 5 Escorts Ford found themselves in trouble - premium brands were selling like wildfire and the Ford range was pretty dire. The Focus and Mondeo were, and still are, superb products that are at least as good as any other in their respective class. The Focus was, and argueably still is, class leader for dynamics.
